Taking place on 1st-2nd October at a drizzly Oulton Park, the Club’s own Pirelli Ferrari formula classic proved you don’t need a massive grid for great racing. A few had withdrawn with difficulties getting diesel for tow cars.
Constant leapfrogging between the top three finishers in the race, slippery conditions and some creative racing lines from Jim Cartwright meant there was no shortage of thrills at the Northern circuit.
