Declassified intel has pointed to an “off the radar” gathering on the 24th August, with 22 Ferraris taking to the apron for a display at the RAF Syerston Families Day.
Each year RAF Syerston holds the RAF Air Cadets National Air & Space Camp, with this year also incorporating the Families Day. This flagship event within the RAFAC calendar invited Air Cadets from across the UK and saw hundreds of personnel attend for 2022.
Club members not only showcased a variety of Ferraris ranging from 308 GT4 to F8, some went as far to allow the young cadets to sit in the cars – possibly the first time they have ever been at the wheel of a Ferrari.
The weather was kind enough to hold to the final moment of the day, with the conclusion of the final air display coinciding with the start of some very heavy rain.
More photos have been decrypted and are available on Flickr, and a full report will available in the October issue of the Club magazine, Ferrari.
