The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show brings the Club’s 2021 events season to a close.
With plenty of comic book and movie characters wandering the halls of the NEC, it would be easy to think this year’s Classic Motor Show had changed beyond recognition after it’s pandemic-enforced two-year hiatus, however look past the MCN Comic Con cross-pollination of visitors and there was a reassuring normality about the Classic Motor Show this year.
A little more space in the walkways to aid social distancing meant that visitors could freely move across the halls visiting the variety of clubs, dealers, traders, motoring celebs and more at the UK’s flagship classic auto event.
Approximately 3000 cars were on display across seven halls, with 270 car clubs celebrating a range of anniversaries from 2020 as well as 2021. The key figure of 63,328 visitors who attended over the three show days might be lower than previous years but given the circumstances is a strong show of support from the wider automotive loving public.
A full event report will feature in the December issue of Ferrari, but photos are now available on the Club’s Flickr page with thanks to Richard Dredge.
