The dire weather forcast no doubt led to some no-shows for the Prescott picnic and hill-drive event, but those that showed up enjoyed unlimited drives up the famous hill and, when the drizzle died down, pulled out the picnic tables in true British grit fashion. Sharing the day with the TVR Club worked well, each occupying their own area of the paddock, and it was good to hear the rumble of their V8s interspersed with the more sonorous howl of the Ferraris. A repeat is on the cards for next year, and the Prescott people are very keen to see a larger involvement from our Club.
