Maranello Sales in Egham invited a small group of Club members for an initial viewing of the new 296 GTB. It looks even better in real life than in pictures and the smaller size than the 458/488 series will appeal to many, as will the 840hp of the V-6 engine combined with an electric motor. The car is announced as Ferrari’s ‘first V-6 road car’ so we all wondered what had happened to the Dino 246GT, but that aside it looked and sounded fantastic. First delivery is not expected until 2023. More road shows are planned at other dealers and in the meantime there is more on the car here.
