Our Club’s formula classic racers had three races at the Challenge UK meeting at Donington Park on 12/13 June, and Peter Fisk in his mighty 550 Maranello took two wins and a second, with his nearest rival Wayne Marrs (355/Ch) taking the other win and a second place before succumbing to a 65kg weight penalty in the final race which was too much for his 355 to overcome. There was good and close racing throughout and the hot weather made it tricky for both drivers and tyres. The two Challenge UK races for 488 Challenge Evos were equally thrilling with Lucky Khera winning the first from James Swift, but then both fell foul of time penalties in the second race to hand the win to Paul Hogarth. Full reports will soon be posted but in the meantime lots of pictures can be seen on our Flick page.
