On Monday 19th September the world stood still to witness the final farewell to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The ceremonies both in London and Windsor, so respectfully covered by the television channels, brought home the enormity of our loss, and the many eulogies spoke eloquently about her life and her reign. A life rich in servitude for her subjects, strong religious belief, stability and good sense.
We must now transfer our loyalty to her eldest son and successor, King Charles III, and wish him good fortune. It remains for us to say: Long Live the King.
