The Club returned to RAF Systerson on 23rd August, with 38 Ferraris taking to the apron for a display at the RAF Syerston Families Day.
Each year RAF Syerston holds the RAF Air Cadets National Air & Space Camp, with each year also incorporating the Families Day. This flagship event within the RAFAC calendar invited Air Cadets from across the UK and saw more than 500 personnel attend for 2023.
Club members not only showcased a variety of Ferraris ranging from Dino 246 to 812, some went as far to allow the young cadets to sit in the cars – possibly the first time they have ever been at the wheel of a Ferrari.
The weather was kind with the sun breaking through the autumn-like cloud by mid morning, with the conclusion of the 4-hour air display bringing the day to a close.
The Club has already received and accepted the invitation for next year – keep an eye out for bookings in the new year to join this fabulous day.
