Pembrey Circuit – Sunday 22 September 2024
Pembrey Circuit will host the inaugural Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival on Sunday 22 September – when unique, unusual and rare supercars, together with a huge collection of cars and motorcycles from the world of motorsport, gather at the home of Welsh motorsport.
Pembrey has a rich motorsport history dating back over 50 years – Ayrton Senna holds the lap record of 44.43 seconds, set in 1988 in a McLaren-Honda MP4/4, while rally legends like Hannu Mikkola, Michéle Mouton, Tony Pond, Malcolm Wilson and David Llewellin have all competed there for example – so there is no better venue for this brand-new automotive extravaganza!
Organised by the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), the Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival will see the entire Pembrey Circuit venue opened like never before – with supercar zones, classic car collections, monster trucks, rally cars, race teams, autograss, motorbikes, a trade/food village, autojumble, and much more located in the paddock and throughout the venue in specially curated and easily accessible areas.
The Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival will feature displays from the many world-class automotive companies located in and around the South and West Wales region, as well as vehicles from around the UK and abroad, making it a truly international celebration of supercar and motorsport engineering.
Cars won’t just be on static display either, as demonstration runs will be taking place throughout the day – and there will be opportunities for fans to have a lap or two around the famous Pembrey Circuit in a variety of very special cars.
Entertainment in the paddock will also include interviews with motorsport drivers and celebrities and live music – while VIP celebrities will vote for a special Concours d’Elegance award, featuring the very best of the best vehicles.
Mark your calendar for a high-octane celebration of motoring and music as the thrilling and family-friendly Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival roars into action on Sunday 22 September.
